Short and Sweet

I read a quote the other day that simply said, "Guard your good mood."    (Meryl Streep)

I loved it! Short, yet wise; cute, yet profound.  I wrote it down, but didn't need to. It has stuck with me. I try not to have too many "moods." I try to stay steady, downplaying the negative and accentuating the positive. Every now and then, however, a 'mood' will hit. It's great when it's a good one; not so great, when it's a discouraging one. How often, though, do we let someone or something spoil our good mood? In an instant, it can be gone!  We really do need to guard our hearts and minds and good moods!

Four simple words, yet it communicates volumes.  I am working on some projects for Jenna's graduation. I am trying to pair pictures with stories, song lyrics or her own writings.  I am endeavoring to weave wisdom throughout with short phrases or great quotes. Here are a couple words of wisdom in four words or less!

Be who you are.   Want what you have.   Do what you can.

Live in the present.   Honor the past.   Create your future.

If you have others, I'd love to hear them! I know this blog today may be too short and sweet but the demands of the day have kept me from my computer and continue to call even now.  Thanks for checking in.  I'll write more next week!

Abundant Blessings,
