A Garland of Gratitude

If you know me at all, you know that I love Thanksgiving! For the last few years I have tried to think of ideas to infuse my whole family with a spirit of gratitude.  The last 3 years, we have written on tags beginning November 1 and collected them in a cornucopia. Then on Thanksgiving day we spend time reading through those thank offerings.

This year, I decided it was time to change it up a bit. I decorated my entry way with an invitation to “Give Thanks.” Strips of paper and pens are there so that anyone who is willing can write down something that they are thankful for.

These notes of thanks are then joined together to create a Gratitude Garland, much like the Christmas chains you may have made as children.

We are asking everyone who visits in November to be a part of this special Thanksgiving activity and hope to adorn all our doorways with gratitude!

My thanks to Bob, Connie, Michelle, Brett, S’Ambrosia, Kiki, Missy and Micah for already participating!

Do you have a special Thanksgiving idea?  I would love to hear it!

Abundant Blessings,

      Hi Angela,

Thank you so much for your kind comments on my blog. I appreciate them SO much!

I think of you often and wish I had gotten to know you better before everything happened with TAC. You were always so kind and gracious and ever-so-talented! Mischelle and I have been getting together once a week to create and reminders of you are still everywhere in her studio.

Hope all is going well for you and your family. Have a great weekend!
