With Me All Along

We saw him at the Opryland Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee.

An adorable little boy, maybe 3… maybe younger.

Dressed in an equally adorable sweater vest, nicely pressed pants, and  stylish hair.

Making his way very independently {as many 3 year-olds are prone to do} down a beautifully carpeted corridor.

And as he walked, he called out, “Daaa…ddy, where are you?”

His dad was just a few giant steps behind him.

They laughed at how cute a sight it was. As they told me the story,  I thought to myself, that may as well be me.

Walking all too independently, calling out His name, wondering where He is, when He’s with me all along.

Still Learning to Walk With Him,

Debbie~
